Excellent point, Laura. The "links, links, links" type of SEO drives me crazy when there's nothing there worth linking to.

Thanks for the reminder.

Laura,
Consider GB Shaw's comment: "The single biggest problem with communication is the illusion that it has taken place."

We say we read blogs. But we skim. Once in a while, we read.

And even after reading, many of us don't engage enough to remember any of the content. I agree with you that fresh is critical.

Content should be edible too. Small enough to fit on a fork. Few people pay attention any longer than that.

Great post Laura. Funny that I'm reading it now because it's 9 o'clock on a Wednesday night and I'm trying to finish tomorrows post.

I usually have the whole weeks worth of posts done on by Monday but I had a busy weekend and got behind... now my hair's falling out from the stress of doing it last minute;)

Also, I thought I'd add another tip.
One thing that I do for my blog that saves me some time and helps to interact with my readers is my "Friday Retweet." Since I'm on Twitter so much already, I collect the best tweets on business and copywriting every week and I post them as my blog for Friday.

It helps people connect with other Twitterers with similar interests and it saves me from having to write a post. Win-win... my favorite kind of game.
